Located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, this boutique F&B establishment spans a modest 12,000 square feet. The client’s vision was to bring the traditional Burmese kitchen to Dubai, and we embarked on an extensive research journey to capture the essence of this unique and culturally rich culinary tradition. In a compact space with limited seating, our focus was on recreating the authentic Burmese experience.

Our design approach centered on creating a sensory experience, incorporating soft, handmade materials and natural finishes. Attention to detail played a pivotal role in this seemingly simple design, where the interplay of color and texture with artisanal materials took center stage. Our aim was to transport visitors to an authentic Burmese kitchen, immersing them in the sights, smells, and ambience of the homeland. The result is a moody, atmospheric food destination that evokes a sense of nostalgia and adventure.

Given the constraints of space, meticulous planning and strategic placement of services were paramount to the project’s success. Close collaboration with the client ensured that the final design perfectly matched the original vision.
